Events

Eastman Recreation offers several events throughout the year. In most cases, members may bring guests. Contact the Recreation office at 423-229-3771 for details.

Summer Youth Program - Register your child or grandchild today to play in the 2025 Instructional Youth Leagues coordinated by Eastman Recreation. Children ages 5-17 can develop their baseball and softball skills and be coached by some of the best middle and high school coaches from our region. We are also continuing our exciting partnership with the Kingsport Axmen baseball team, managed by Caleb Mills. Our instructional youth league consists of tee-ball. three baseball leagues ; and two girls softball leagues. Players must be at least 5 years old by June 1 and no older than 17 on June 1 to participate.

Classes and lessons

Eastman Recreation offers various classes and lessons throughout the year to members who want to broaden their skills and knowledge. Participants must meet club eligibility guidelines and, in most cases, pay a fee in addition to annual dues. Contact Eastman Recreation at 423- 229-3771 for details and to register.

Waterfall Painting Class - A step-by-step acrylic painting class will be held Thursday, May 15, at 5:30 p.m. in the Toy F. Reid Employee Center. The fee is $30 and includes all materials. Eastman Recreation members receive a $5 discount.

Click here to sign up. Fees must be paid prior to the class to hold your spot. Call 229- 3771 or stop by the Recreation office inside the Toy F. Reid Employee Center during normal business hours to pay the fee. The class is limited to the first 25 paid participants and will meet in Room 214 on the second floor.
