Eastman Camera Club Announces
Photo Editing with Lightroom
Learn how to manage and enhance your photos using Adobe Lightroom Classic
In this class you will learn how to organize your photos and take them from Meh to Wow!
Our class will be from 6:00 – 8:00 in the Eastman Toy F. Reid Employee Center, August 20, 22, 27 & 29. The cost is $75/person and you must be a Camera Club member to attend. The good news is anyone can become a member. The class is limited to 10 students.
There are multiple versions of Lightroom. We will be teaching from the latest version of Lightroom Classic. We will not be covering Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, which is their internet cloud version. You can use an older standalone version of Lightroom however some features covered in class may not be available in the older versions.
What You Need for Class
You will need to bring a Windows or Mac laptop computer to class with Lightroom Classic already installed. You will probably not have Internet access while in class so you must do this before class. If you have not purchased Lightroom yet, you can purchase a subscription to the Adobe Creative Cloud Photography plan for $9.99/month. Go to http://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/photography.html and click Buy now under Photography Plan. You can download a 30-day free trial at http://www.adobe.com/downloads.html. If you plan on using the free trial for class, don't download too early.
Adobe allows you to load Lightroom on up to two computers (Mac, PC or one of each).
Contact the Eastman Recreation Office to sign up for class. You can call 423-229-3771 or go by the front desk at the Employee Center.
